Re: PPPoS interface disconnection event is not always calling the registered disconnect callback function

Yeah. something like that you need implement state machine for that I've seen sometimes the GSM returns "NO CARRIER" message (which indicates connection has been lost), but sometimes it doesn't return the message and program gets stuck :( However I added to go to a Reset state when receiv...

Re: PPPoS interface disconnection event is not always calling the registered disconnect callback function

Ok. Understood. If you GSM module doen't support SIM Card removal detection then you need to implement which will reset your GSM module based on retried of command response. After that once GSM module will be reset then you will get initially like SIM Card is not inserted from GSM init process itse...

Re: Need help regarding pcnt interface example into ESP32

If you read the linked thread ESP_Sprite suggested RMT or MCPWM Capture. Since mcpwm has only 6 capture channels you probably should use RMT. Thanks for quick response regarding same. So, We can only use RMT Interface as per our requirement because PCNT is just to measure counts for Pulses and MCPW...

Re: Need help regarding pcnt interface example into ESP32

PCNT is for counting pulses not measuring pulses Ok. Our Project requirement is to measure timing of each pulse and we need to do it for at-least 8 to 10 I/Os which are on ESP32 module itself. So, We basically want to measure timing for each pulse in which ESP32 board's I/Os will be connected with ...

Re: PPPoS interface disconnection event is not always calling the registered disconnect callback function

Hi, We have put GSM Module reset state machine into LWIP Library which we have developed for our GSM module I think you need to add handler or provision regarding PPP callback function into your state machine once you get SIM card removal detection event. Would you please check it from your PPP app...

Thanks for Reply.

Are you sure that PCNT Interface will be useful for that requirement which we want to achieve? Would you please provide sample code as well?

Re: How to measure pulse width on an HC-SR04

Hi,

Did you try with PCNT Interface to get exact accuracy about pulse width which you want to achieve?

We have also same requirement for one of our product based on ESP32

Need help regarding pcnt interface example into ESP32

Hi, We have one project requirement in which we have taken few GPIOs as INPUT I/Os over ESP32 module (ESP32-WROVER). So, Those few INPUT GPIOs are connected with other machine's I/O pins. So, We needs to measure timing of pulse for each I/Os with accuracy and based on that we needs decided actual lo...

Re: PPPoS interface disconnection event is not always calling the registered disconnect callback function

Hi Ritesh, have you found a solution or workaround for this issue? I have the same problem, for example if ESP is downloading a file via GSM and I remove the SIM card (just to simulate an interruption of the connection) the program gets stuck because PPP callback isn't called... Do you think is a b...
