Re: ESP-WROVER-KIT V3 physical dimensions

Yes, I think I can import that into Fusion 360 and get the measurements from there. Otherwise I think there's a free viewer from Autodesk.

Thank you!

Re: ESP-WROVER-KIT V3 physical dimensions

Thanks Iggr. I might be able to get the distances for the headers based on that image, but could you please ask your hardware people if they can provide the actual distances as that'd be 100% accurate?

Re: ESP-WROVER-KIT V3 physical dimensions

Please, Espressif?

I'd post a documentation request on GitHub if there was a project for the Wrover-kit, but alas there is not.

Re: ESP-WROVER-KIT V3 physical dimensions

Might this high quality picture answer some of your questions? http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/hw-reference/modules-and-boards.html#esp-wrover-kit-v3 I've got the board so I can do measurements, but I doubt I'd get the measurements 100% correct, even with Vernier calipers. Surely Espressif ...

ESP-WROVER-KIT V3 physical dimensions

hi, So now that I've gotten JTAG debugging working with the ESP-WROVER-KIT V3, I find myself in need of making a "connection board" to mount the Wrover-kit on (since wires needs to be run from multiple connections on the board [JP1, JP8 JP11]). I'm thus looking for the physical dimensions ...

Re: Wrover module boot issues

I figured it out - I've got an alias 'maf' to that does 'make app-flash monitor', but as the Wrover module is completely blank it's missing the boot partition. Running 'make flash monitor' once solves it. :)

Wrover module boot issues

Hi, Hardware: Wrover-kit, all jumpers removed, onboard-module flash cleared. External Wrover module connected to Wrover-kit via the following wires: 3.3V, GND, RXD, TXD, IO0 and EN. There is nothing else connected to the external Wrover module. If also connecting MTDI, MTDS, MTCK and MTDO, OpenOCD d...

Re: std::this_thread::yield()

Not easily, no. It is a nice trick though.

I'll go with the sleep_for-solution now. In practice it means that there is at maximum 1ms delay in (dis)connecting a socket and I can live with that. I'll likely revisit this at a later time.

Re: std::this_thread::yield()

We haven't taken the old site down completely to avoid breaking all of the existing inbound links from around the web. That's reasonable thinking. It turns out I cannot use other means than polling in this task as it manages multiple non-blocking sockets and needs to continually check them for read...
