Re: GSM module circuit with ESP32 board

4V logic? Sounds like an odd value. Are you sure about that?

In any case, use a levelshifter, such as the TXB0102DCUR.

You could also use a simple voltage divider based on two resistors for each channel.

permal: we don't have such plans, at the moment.
Ambitious - gcc, clang, make and cmake all at the same time. Though, compiling the same code with both gcc and clang do have its benefits.

Re: v3.0 to v3.1 migration guide? WiFi not working...

FWIW, I've seen no issues whatsoever with Wifi. I'm always working against the tip of master so I've seen all the versions on my device and I do many, many, soft-resets while developing against my Wrover module.

Are you all sure that it is not something external affecting your wifi-connection?

Re: GSM module circuit with ESP32 board

Check the datasheets for voltage levels. ESP32 uses 3.3V so if your devices uses the same you should be good to go.

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

Oops, seems I posted something that wasn't entirely true and that I shouldn't have posted. We are developing LLVM for Xtensa first, as I mentioned in my edited post, but it will be coming out for the ESP32 first. Still can't give any timeline, unfortunately. Does that mean we're eventually moving a...

Debugging with VS Code?

Hi, Anyone here who has managed to get debugging working with VS Code? I've gotten as far as a debug session is started, but I can't get stepping etc. to work. My setup so far (based off the official docs for JTAG debugging): Running OpenOCD: bin/openocd -s share/openocd/scripts -f interface/ftdi/es...

Looks like an ESP32 Wroom module on a breakout board?

my problem is, i can't set an output level.
Is the call returning an error or don't you get the desired voltage on the pin? Do you have a schematic? Could it be that something is pulling it low hard?

Re: ESP32 GPIO25 and GPIO26 as standard Output

I do it like this for all my outputs: https://github.com/PerMalmberg/Smooth/b ... ut.cpp#L17

I don't see a reason you'd have issues with GPIO 25, it's not a strapping pin. What module are you using, and what is the actual problem?
