CCATS missing for several ESP32 products

Hi, I usually buy my electronics from Mouser.se. However, they are unable to sell many of the ESP32 products outside of the US due to US export restrictions (their warehouse is located in TX). According to their customer service, it is due to a missing CCATS number. It seems that it is all the devic...

Re: Simple MQTT with C++ and IDF

If you want to go all-out C++, have a look at my Smooth framework for the IDF, and its accompanying test project . It has an implementation for MQTT (QoS 0-2, but no persistent storage) in C++. As it builds on on top of the Smooth framework, it's not something you can use as you would other Arduino-...

Re: Heap corruption diagnostics causing heap corruption?.

I just updated to the latest IDF incl. submodules and am now running with comprehensive mode. No longer crashed on startup so that's a good sign. Will leave it overnight and report back.

Re: JTAG with Wrover

If you like to debug other ESP32 devices then consider https://esp32.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2525#p12056 Hm, the ARM-USB-OCD-H ? I have one of those. I've spent hours trying to get it to work correctly/reliably. This was last summer, has anything significant happened in the debugging area sinc...

Re: JTAG with Wrover

Yeah, it got bad just a few weeks ago when our Customs Service had enough. They didn't like all the parcels/packages being shipped from China without customs being paid. There were an exceptional increase in such packages due to Wish etc. but getting back on topic - would love some answers to the qu...

Re: JTAG with Wrover

The problem with buying from China here in Sweden is that it takes months to get here, and there is an additional fee added, on top of VAT. That fee is about 50% of the cost of that particular item. :(

JTAG with Wrover

Hi, Before I go and buy one of these Wrover kits to get a functional JTAG debugger could someone please answer the following questions? 1. Can this device debug external ESP32 devices, i.e. debug other devices than the ESP32 mounted on the board itself? 2. Is there a better alternative? I really onl...

Re: Proant 440 antenna with PICO-D4 - ground plane

If you haven't already, have a look at the ESP32-PICO-KIT, schematics that I just stumbled on myself: https://dl.espressif.com/dl/schematics/esp32-pico-kit-v4_schematic.pdf It actually uses the Proant 440. http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/hw-reference/modules-and-boards.html?highlight=jtag#es...
