Need Help to port I2C based sensor on ESP32 device

Postby Ritesh » Mon Nov 21, 2016 9:18 am

Hi,

I am working on ESP32-idf RTOS SDK and we have one requirement to connect I2C based temperature sensor. So, we have first decided to connect it on ADC interface but that is not our requirement as per client request.

So, we have thought to connect it over I2C interface and i think there are total 2 dedicated I2C interface into ESP32 chip.

Does anyone has any I2C based driver with example which is already ported for ESP32? If yes then please provide me link or code for that so that i can port into ESP32-idf RTOS and can re-use for my product.

Hi,

Does anyone has any idea or clue for this?

Also, I want to know exact pin configurations for hardware I2C0 or I2C1 and with howmany interface it is shared.

So that I can plan to use GPIO based software I2C instead of dedicated I2C if shared with useful pin.

Let me know if anyone has idea for that as well.
