Core dump using putty

Postby PeterR » Thu Oct 04, 2018 11:06 am

Hi,
This must have been answered before but I cannot find the answer.
My program hangs and I want to capture trace and core dump information.
The PC is connected to the ESP32 via our board's CP2102N UART to USB. The CP2102 RTS and DTR are connected to ESP_EN and GPIO0.
When I open a session our board hangs and will only restart if I close Putty and remove the USB cable.
I have tried Flow Control 'None' etc.
https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... ction.html discusses but does not explain how to resolve. My RTS and DTR are not directly connected, at least not on the schematic!

How do I use a terminal program such as Putty?
& I also believe that IDF CAN should be fixed.
