Ethernet to WiFi data forwarding demo code not working on ESP32-EVB

Postby bhakti » Fri Oct 05, 2018 7:31 am

Hello Espressif,

I am working on ESP32-EVB olimex board with msys32 environment on windows, example codes of Ethernet and wifi worked on board.
Now I need to use Ethernet to WiFi data forwarding demo code( https://github.com/espressif/esp-iot-so ... s/eth2wifi) for our application. This code is particularly for LAN8720, So
1) I have edited source and header files for LAN8710A.
2) changed phy address to 0.
3) Edited Wifi ssid and password accordingly.
3) looks like PHY is powered in hardware itself not using GPIO for power, but I have not changed anything related to this in code.

After flash and monitor device is Rebooting continuously and error is
Guru Meditation Error: Core 0 panic'ed (StoreProhibited). Exception was unhanded.

Please help and suggest if I am missing something.
Thanks.

It would be better to post esp-iot-solution related bug report in github issues.

Tested what you said.
Since there is no device for this phy, the test demo is run using only the module.
After the modification, your phenomenon did not appear, but the print will be repeated "emac resetting ...."
You can check the hardware connection and try to run the individual modules to increase the cause of the print information location problem.

Thank you very much for reply.
That issue was related to setting library path. That worked long back.sorry for late update.
